It all started when I entered the fashion PR industry in 2006 at Spalt PR in Copenhagen. Afterwards I worked many years as a freelance PR and event consultant for various clients such as Maria Black, Anne Sofie Madsen, DIESEL, Bestseller, Stine Goya & COVER magazine.
I have been creating key events during Copenhagen & London Fashion Weeks for Dior and Won Hundred, as well as creating the first Danish ‘Blogger Parties’ in 2011 with international top influencers such as Facehunter, Livin’ Cool, Dandy Diary, Hanneli & Journelles.
In 2012 I moved to London to study Entrepreneurship for Creatives at Central Saint Martins and to work in PR and marketing at Starworks Group. Following that I worked as the International Events Manager at rewardStyle, the leading influencer affiliate marketing company, between 2014-2016 where I did exclusive influencer events during Paris, London & Berlin fashion weeks with Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion and Topshop.
At the same time I ran my fashion & lifestyle blog Spotding between 2009- 2017. I was featured in Italian GRAZIA, ELLE UK, VOGUE.com, had my own TV show for MONKI and was working with brands like Stine Goya, Gestuz and Ganni. I was also working on a filmmaking ‘Interview serie project’, which I directed and edited myself.
In February 2017 I decided to return to the music industry where I previously had been working as a freelance event organiser, booker and DJ between 2005-2012. I took up my DJ’ing ( fiona-jane.com) again and have the last 4 years been playing for brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton, Emilio Pucci, and at renowned clubs and luxury hotels around the world. I continue to share my music for special events and to curate soundtracks for catwalk shows.
All these career experiences allowed me to establish a broad knowledge across industries, built key relationships and a strong business fundament for starting MoonLight Creative beginning of 2020.
Being part of the industry for over a decade now, I’ve realised what it takes to curate unique experiences and to make an impact. With the right attitude, great storytelling and mixed with digital creativity. Insight, personal relations and proactive work are all important initiatives in order for my clients to feel success for their brand - I always try to push the boundaries of strategic communication and insist on creating innovative ways when connecting people and brands.
